One shared kitchen for the whole family

No more recipes trapped in one person's phone. Your household shares a kitchen: the same recipes, ratings and plans for everyone you invite.

Free while we are in beta. No credit card.

How sharing works

STEP 1

Start your kitchen

Sign up and you have a kitchen of your own. Every recipe you save lands there.

STEP 2

Invite the people you cook with

On the You tab, under Invite someone, the owner invites people by email and picks what each one can do: Partner or Member.

STEP 3

Everyone sees the same kitchen

A recipe saved by one cook is there for everyone, on every phone, tablet and computer they sign in on. Each person rates and stars recipes for themselves, so you can see what the whole household thinks is worth making again.

STEP 4

Belong to more than one kitchen

Keep your own kitchen and join your parents' or a friend's too. Tap the kitchen name on your home screen to switch between them.

Who can do what

Owner. The person whose kitchen it is. Does everything: recipes, cookbooks, invitations.

Partner. Someone who cooks in the same kitchen, like a spouse. Adds, edits and deletes recipes and plans the week. Cookbooks and invitations stay with the owner.

Member. Family and friends. They browse, rate, star and comment, see the week's meal plan, and can read and print the kitchen's cookbooks. Recipes they add go in their own kitchen, and their "Want to try" picks and shopping lists are private to them.

Sharing with someone who is not in your kitchen

Send any single recipe by link. Whoever opens it sees that one recipe and nothing else, with no account needed. You can also send it as a picture: see recipe cards.

Questions

Who can see my recipes?

Only the people in your kitchen, plus anyone you send a share link to, who sees that one recipe.

Can my partner add recipes too?

Can family members change my recipes?

Not as members. Members browse, rate, star and comment. Only the owner and partners change recipes.

Can I be in two kitchens?

Yes. Keep your own and join others, then switch from your home screen.

Does everyone need to pay?
