How to make a recipe card
Open a recipe and tap Card
On any recipe, tap ๐ผ๏ธ Card. Cards are made in a web browser, on your phone or your computer.
Pick the shape
Post is for an Instagram post or a text. Story fills a phone screen, for an Instagram story. The preview shows exactly what you will send.
Share it or save it
Tap Share to send it straight to Instagram, Messages or any app on your phone. Or tap Save image and share it from your photos.
What is on a card
- The recipe's photo.
- Its title.
- Cooking time and servings.
- Where the recipe came from, when it has a source.
Want them to have the whole recipe?
A card is a picture. To hand over the full recipe, tap Share on the recipe page and send the link. Whoever opens it sees the ingredients and steps, with no account needed.
Questions
What sizes are the cards?
Post is 1080 by 1350 pixels and Story is 1080 by 1920 pixels.
Can I make a card for any recipe?
Yes. A recipe without a photo gets a card with a warm color background.
Does the card include the full recipe?
No. It shows the photo, title, time and servings. Send the recipe's share link when someone wants the ingredients and steps.
Who can make cards?
Anyone in the kitchen.
